As a multifaceted designer, Mingu uses her talent and imagination to bring an extra measure of style, vitality, and wit to the pieces she produces.

Originally from Seoul, Mingu has been working on all disciplines of design from print, web, motion, illustrations to branding and corporate design for clients such as Budweiser, P&G, Elix, Sephora, Soul Cycle, GE Metem, Burger King, Popeyes, Redscout, Hello Fresh, Milk Bar, Haar & Co, Birchbox, JetBlue, Course Hero, Johnson & Johnson, and Brooklyn Museum of Art—helping them build a visual voice that sets apart and differentiates.

Mingu earned her MFA in Design: Designer as Author and Entrepreneur at School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she found her creative roots at the intersection of design and strategy. Her work has been featured in design communities including Brand New and Communication Arts.

You can find Mingu, a designer, artist, and collector anywhere inspirational but particularly looking for vintage furniture, everything made of rattan and perfectly shaped cactus.
